Xiaomi has shared the global rollout schedule for HyperOS 4. The update is based on Android 17 and will reach close to 80 Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco phones and tablets by the end of December 2026. The rollout comes in three phases, starting this month.

What Is HyperOS 4?
HyperOS 4 is Xiaomi next major software update, built on Android 17. It brings a big change to the look and feel of the interface. The stable update already started rolling out in China last month. Xiaomi has now confirmed the plan for the rest of the world.
The update is large. It is more than 8 GB in size for phones moving from stable HyperOS 3, so make sure you have enough free storage before you install it.
Phase 1: Early November 2026
This phase covers Xiaomi newest phones and tablets, including the Xiaomi 17 Ultra, Xiaomi 17, Xiaomi 17T, Xiaomi 17T Pro, Xiaomi 15, and Xiaomi 15 Ultra. It also covers the Redmi Note 15 and Note 17 series, the Redmi 15C and Redmi 17 lines, the Poco F8 series, Poco X8 series, and Poco M8 series, along with the Xiaomi Pad 8 and Pad 8 Pro.
Phase 2: Mid-November 2026
This phase brings HyperOS 4 to last year T-series phones, the Poco F7 lineup, and several tablets. It includes the Xiaomi 15T, Xiaomi 15T Pro, Poco F7, Poco F7 Pro, Poco F7 Ultra, Poco F9 Pro, Poco F9 Ultra, Poco X7 Pro, the Redmi Pad 2 Pro series, and the Xiaomi Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro.
Phase 3: December 2026
The last phase covers older devices, such as the Xiaomi 13 and 14 series, the Xiaomi 13T and 14T lines, the Xiaomi Mix Flip, the Redmi Note 14 series, the Redmi 14S, Redmi 15, Redmi A7 Pro, and Poco phones like the Poco F6, Poco F6 Pro, Poco X6 Pro, Poco X7, Poco X8s, and Poco M7.
Xiaomi has only confirmed months for each phase, not exact dates. The update rolls out in stages, so it can take a few weeks to reach every phone within its phase.
Which Phones Will NOT Get HyperOS 4
A few older Xiaomi phones miss out on HyperOS 4 completely, because they run on Android 16 as their base version, and Xiaomi new update needs a newer base. These include the Redmi Note 13 Pro, Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G, Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus, Poco M6 Pro 4G, and Poco X6 5G. The Redmi K60 Pro and Redmi K70 Pro also miss out, though these run the China-only version of HyperOS.
Xiaomi will still send security updates to these phones. The Redmi Note 13 series gets security patches until 2028. The Poco X6 5G gets them until at least January 2028.
How to Install HyperOS 4
Once the update reaches your phone, heres how to install it:
- Open Settings and tap About phone.
- Tap the HyperOS version card.
- Tap Check for updates, then install HyperOS 4 if it shows up.
Make sure your phone has more than 50% battery and enough free storage before you start.
Xiaomi has not shared a separate rollout plan for India or Pakistan yet. The dates above are for the global rollout, so local timing may come a little later.
